On that evening when he managed to get to his hometown, it was all over. His uncle was standing on the station with his blurred face down. Later from the investigation of police he came to know that there was a fire, probably a short-circuit is responsible for that. It was early morning and none could survive.

His final examination was over and he was really looking for something to rescue himself from this situation. He was looking for a job; but as usual in this cursed country all curses just spread the wings over him. None was ready to get a job as he was not recommended by a minister or member of the parliament. He was ready to do anything for survival and to leave behind everything.

UNCLE! UNCLE!! Please wake up. Someone is pulling his shirt. Perhaps he slept sitting on the seat of the rickshaw. He was caught cold and sick for last couple of days, but could not stay at home as he promised the old lady to take the child to school. Last two days she did not come. He alone brought the child and took back her home.

He asked whether the children had their food or not. The lady started weeping. He looked around and found that the man was so rude to his family. All the cooked food are scattered on the ground. He asked one of the kids to come with him, gave him the food he cooked, turned off the light and lied on the couch.

The next morning he reached in front of the apartment before it was 7.30. Within few minutes the girl came with the lady. She asked him to take them to a famous school. He started to pull the rickshaw. The lady asked why he did not take the money yesterday. He smiled and said how come I take the money while still the work is not done.

It has become an unwritten rule that every morning before 7.30 he will appear in front of the apartment and after school will appear in front of the school. The girl, whose name is Kaya is very cute and calm. She asks questions and often he answers them to her. He cannot remember last when he talked this much to anyone and finds that while Joya was alive he used to talk to her for hours. For last three years his life is filled with loneliness and silence.

Joya was calm, gentle and kind girl. He met her while he was in his seventh semester in graduation level in university. Joya was doing her Post graduation, so she was senior to him. The relation, how it started and ended he cannot just understand.

In a rag day he met Joya. Not knowing Joya, he thought her to be a student of first year poured some color water on her. Some of the senior guys got very furious and about to beat him. Joya came in between and rescued him.

He returned to his room in the slum at about midnight. It’s a small room made of bamboo fence and roof is of tin. The rent is 2000 per month. There are several studies which show that slum dwellers pay more than the apartment dwellers in this city. The room is small and simple unlike all other rooms in the slum.

A single cot with mosquito net, some kitchen utensils, a portable charcoal oven, some clothes hanging from a hanger and exceptional with this place, some dozens of books on the floor.

He put some rice, lentil, spices, salt, and chili with a tea spoon of butter oil into a pot, lit up the oven, charcoal started burning. A mild fragrance started to come out from the pot. Joya had some strange habits. She used to cook food, take those in a pot and she would roam the entire locality in search of someone who is really hungry.

Traditionally this country has many beggars. Its not because they do not have any means to income, its because they are reluctant to work and earn. Rather they try to grab easy money.

Joya would roam to find someone who is really needy and hungry. She was always lucky to find someone she desired and gave him/her the food and some help.

“OH!! YOU FUCKING BEACH!! BUNCHES OF BUGGERS!! WHY YOU ALL SIT ON MY HEAD AND RUIN MY MONEY!!” With sudden hue and cry he got conscious from his thought. Sound of shouting and crying are coming from the next door. He walked slowly to the door of the next room and found that the head of that home grabbing hairs of the lady of that home. Four scared children were standing away. He slowly moved to the man and pushed him with force; the man fell down and got unconscious. Saliva was coming through his mouth.

Life Quotes Of Love: Fantasy Or Crude Reality Part 1

He was waiting in front of the apartment complex. It is a large area, four of the bottom stories are super malls. All the shops are very colorful. In evening this place looks very beautiful.

In the mean time a cool breeze started to blow. He looked towards the sky and found that on north-west part a piece of dark grey cloud which is growing rapidly. “It will rain” he thought. Suddenly he remembers two lines of a poem;

“Clouds are there,
One after one
And darkness has covered”.

Joya used to recite these lines whenever she used to see clouds in the sky. Often in rainy season she would call him and ask “you know, one day I will be with you, holding your hand tightly will shower in the rain, none will be there to stop……………”.

My grand ma came in your rickshaw? He opened his eyes and saw an angel standing by the rickshaw. He waved his positively as there was no other rickshaw around. The cute girl gave him an envelope. He was a bit surprised; as this is an unusual thing happened. He opened it and found some money and with a letter. He read it. The old lady written that she would like to see him in front of the apartment on just 7.30 am, 5 days a week, and in this purpose she is giving him some advance. The lady taken it for granted. He kept the letter and returned the envelope with money and said that tell your grand ma, I will be here at right time.

He started to pull the rickshaw. It started raining and once again he remembered a song;

“Rain drops are falling on my head”

Life is love or love is life; the beginning 2

Life is love or love is life; the beginning 2

That was our life. We were fun loving, caring towards other, jolly and of course good fellows. The only shortcoming was that we never loved to study the text books regularly. We were seven in number. Lucky seven, huh! The campus used to call us seven stars.

Life is love or love is life

In the mean time two of us once again managed to get affair. Curious?? Thinking who was the girl?? No, the girl was not from our department, class or from our university. Those two star used to teach at home, i. e., Home Tutor. One has managed his student while another managed to convince the aunt of the student………….

What were those days we really passed? Often I think if Allah give me the chance to want anything, I would have wanted those days back in my life forever. No hassle, no responsibilities life like birds. That was brief starting of our love life.

Now we are six in number and established in different sectors. You might be thinking where our seventh member is. He is no more. He died on operation table.

He had severe block in the artery of his heart. He had an affair while he died. She cried a lot. The seven stars are still the seven, six are in physical being one is still in the heart of the six.

His memories often make our eyes moisten. Whatever, all we know that the every living creature will have to die one day. It is cited in the Holy Quran “Kullu Nafsin Jayiqatul Mout” which means every living being will taste the death……

In the end of the day all we are just nothing but dust in the wind, the famous song from Kansas, “dust in the wind” is the one often reminds me the days while I will not be in the earth……………

I close my eyes
Only for a moment and the moment's gone
All my dreams
Pass before my eyes with curiosity
Dust in the wind
All they are is dust in the wind
Same old song
Just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do
Crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see
Dust in the wind
All we are is dust in the wind
Now don't hang on
Nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
It slips away
And all your money won't another minute buy
Dust in the wind

All they are is dust in the wind
